A big spicy peppers!
Porsche Cayenne Turbo 2009
Identity:
The Volkswagen Touareg's big brother, both share the same platform, and Porsche's first SUV is by far one of the biggest successes in the history of the brand. With the major facelift it underwent a few months ago, our 2009 Cayenne is now even more attractive. Available with different trim, we decided to focus today's test on the turbo version and its BiTrubo V8.

Design :
The Cayenne's recent facelift slightly modernized its overall design, particularly the Turbo version has a more aggressive front grill. Our SUV's lines are still massive, and the Cayenne, a four door 4 911 SUV, like it or not is an impressive piece of machinery that stands out from most other Sport 4WD vehicles.
Interior
With few differences between the Cayenne’s interior and its little 911, Boxster, or Cayman brothers, our all mighty luxurious SUV seems somehow to be a little behind when compared with its cousin, the 2009 Touareg.
With cheap plastic buttons and basic features it will be hard for some to understand the price of much of this equipment. If we're somehow a little disappointed here, we admit the overall robust sensation that makes a Porsche a Porsche is still part of our Cayenne, and will please most of its future owners.
On the Road :
As Porsche fans, the Cayenne gives us one of the biggest dilemmas we've ever faced. Which aspect of the car should we focus on? Shall we concentrate on its “Sport” pedigree like a real Porsche, or its lack thereof? Its barely tolerable performance on the road which is even worse on the track? Or it being the fastest and most agile 4WD car known to man? Well you'll have to decide by yourself. As far as we're concerned, the Cayenne without a doubt is a stunning vehicle that loves to be driven fast on road or on dirt without slowing down.
However, when it comes to heavy 4WD performance don't expect your Cayenne to outperform a Defender, but on most all-terrain scenarios you and your Cayenne will be far ahead!
Conclusion :
As we stated earlier it's difficult to give you a final conclusion on the Cayenne Turbo. For some this big SUV is a Porsche only by name, for others the Cayenne Turbo is by far the best SUV ever built with amazing performance on both road and dirt.
So for once we'll allow you to decide whether or not you like this Cayenne. As far as we're concerned, the Cayenne Turbo gives us tremendous off-road fun.
