When Power Meets Elegance
Bentley Continental GT Speed
Identity :
Without a doubt the Continental GT is Bentley’s (now owned by VW) most successful car ever designed. Strong from this outstanding success, the British car maker has given the Continental various “identities,” from the sedan version to the cabriolet to the most exquisite of all, the GT Speed!

Headlines :
W12 6.0l With 610Ps 4WD.
4m80 long for 2350 kg.
0 to 100 km/h : 4’’5,
Maximum Speed: 326 km/h.
Design :
The Bentley Continental has by far the most consensual design in the world. Combining a prefect balance of elegance and sportiness, this gorgeous luxury coupe easily turns anyone’s head in a second, and car enthusiast or not, all agree the Continental is a masterpiece. Slightly different mainly due to its front grill the Speed version remains similar to the original Continental, but its unique set of wheels makes it even more desirable.
Interior :
Perhaps the most spacious to be found for a 2+2 coupe. Without falling into the excesses of a Maybach or the quirks of a Rolls Royce, the Continental's interior is the perfect balance of luxury, elegance, and design. The mixture of brushed aluminum, leather, and alcantara is underlined by finishing close to perfection. However, here too the differences are minimal on the Speed.
On the Road :
Fitted with a sumptuous W12, the Continental Speed is the most powerful production Bentley ever produced, when pushed hard the Speed and its 600bhp glues you in its large and soft leather seats.
Powerful but also quite heavy, this 2.3t coupe may need to be treated gently in fast corners, mainly due to its underpowered breaking system that tends from time to time to be overpowered by the cars weight. The Speed is nevertheless more driver-focused and urgent than before. Designed to be the perfect cruiser for any gentleman driver, the Speed is a “Lady” and needs to be treated as such, but iAudi’s Quattro 4WD technology provides a unique driving experience and safety under any conditions.
Conclusion :
A week has passed and despite our car’s underpowered breaking system it's hard to find any faults with our “Lady”. Definitely not made for everyone, especially due to its quite high price tag, the Speed is the perfect balance between power, elegance… And perhaps the most perfect luxury cruiser ever built.

Having driven the Continental GT Speed, and currently reviewing it on my website www.theignitionpoint.co.uk, I realised that you have made a major mistake in your review of this car. You mention at least 2 times that the engine is a V12. It is in fact a W12 and not a V12.
Just a small point.
