MCA ALA 50

The Monte Carlo Automobile Company was founded in 1983 by Fulvio Maria Ballabio. Their first car, unveiled in 1986 and known as the "Centenaire", featured a carbon cockpit and twin-turbo V12 engine producing some 720hp. Amazingly impressive numbers, remember we're talking mid 80's, but apparently not enough as you had probably never heard of this car. MCA hopes their new ALA 50 will have a more successful future.

The ALA 50 will sport a V8 motor good for 650hp and looks just like one of those closed cockpit prototypes which line up on the endurance races grid... It's just what MCA wants to do with the ALA 50 which will attempt to qualify for LeMans 24 hour in 2010 with a team of pro drivers coming 100% from Monaco. This would certainly help spotlight on this unique car.

Many details are still missing, we'll let you know more as soon as we can.
