VeilSide Partners with Valvoline for Customized Roush Mustang Giveaway.
430hp Mustang to be given away at a Nightshift tour event
Valvoline, VeilSide and Roush have teamed up to build the Valvoline Mustang GT-V to be given away at the Miami Nightshift , December 20th. The 430 hp custom vehicle was built by automotive stylist, RJ de Vera and is valued at approximately $60,000. The car will tour the Nightshift events throughout the year giving people an opportunity to submit entries to win the car. Entries can also be submitted by visiting the Valvoline Challenge website at: http://www.valvolinechallenge.com/
The Valvoline Roush Mustang features the VeilSide D1GT model aero kit including a light weight hood, front bumper, side skirts, door panels a rear bumper and air funnels. The car also features a 427R engine package with polished supercharger, coil-overs from H&R Springs, wheels from Volk Racing, a Diamond audio sound system, custom suede interior by Street Concepts and numerous other performance and styling parts. “Once again, RJ has built a great car and we are proud to be part of another great Valvoline vehicle giveaway”, said Ray Fong, vice president of Sales and Marketing, VeilSide USA.
According to de Vera, the project planner for the giveaway vehicle, “The overall theme developed for the Mustang GT-V was ‘Modern yet Classic’. Since we were hoping to bridge the gap between different car enthusiasts we decide to create a fusion between the young tuner performance oriented and aggressive ethos with that of classic American muscle feel. I believe we succeeded in producing an automobile that any car nut would love to have in his garage. I am excited to see who wins this sweepstakes vehicle.”
Contestants can enter the Valvoline Challenge online by testing their automotive knowledge. In addition to the quiz, contestants will need to submit a picture of their car and provide a brief description about why they deserve the Mustang. At the final Nightshift event, five winners from the Valvoline Challenge will be given keys of which, one will start the car. Submissions for entries will be accepted until October 21st 2008.
