Geneva 2008: Bugatti Veyron Fbg Par Hermes

Hermès and Bugatti have decided to collaborate on an industrial design project that marries their respective expertise: the craftsmanship of the Parisian-based saddle maker and the precision automotive engineering of the Molsheim-based car maker.

The project will revive a relationship initiated in the 1920's between Emile Hermès and Ettore Bugatti thanks to a two-tone Veyron which received a delicate Hermes style door handles and where the usual Aluminium dashboard has made way for a special leather made out of bull-calf hide.

Veyron remains stock beneath what the naked eye sees and we still have the 8-litre diabolic engin at the back, with its usual four turbos that are married to four cylinders each. The 1001 horses still run through the 4x4 system to do away with the 0 – 100km/h time in 2.5 seconds.

If you place your order right now it can be delivered to you before 2008 is shut, at a small price of €1.55 million.
