In collaboration with Pininfarina, Girard-Perregaux has combined the excellence of a timepiece with an extraordinary motor car, personalizing one of its complication watches – the Vintage 1945 Tourbillon with gold bridge - and incorporating it in a unique Rolls Royce Hyperion, unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concours this week-end. This detachable timepiece not only fit in the vehicle's dashboard, but can also adorn the wrist of its owner. Thanks to a sophisticated system of spring balls, it can be easily extracted from its alligator strap and clipped onto the dashboard. It'ss held in a support shaped like the Tourbillon cage, which is also the signature of the Girard-Perregaux brand. Its white gold case, with its pure lines inspired by a watch from 1945, houses a Tourbillon with gold bridge. It's perfectly tailored to Hyperion, up to the dial colours that match the bodywork. By integrating the transponder circuit into the body of the watch, Jaeger-LeCoultre has created a timepiece that is entirely functional yet discrete, a masterpiece of miniaturisation and engineering that not only functions as a chronograph but as a key, making it the ultimate accessory for the ultimate sports car. Only Aston Martin dealerships will be able to authorize the timepiece to 'read' and communicate with the owner's specific DBS, ensuring that security and privacy are maintained at all times. Bang & Olufsen to Supply Mercedes-AMG Sound Systems

Ferrari and Panerai Unveil a New Watch Collection at the British International Motor Show
Ferrari Engineered by Officine Panerai Watch Collection Debuts at the British International Motor Show Time and Sport: An all Italian fusion: Ferrari Engineered by Officine Panerai is delighted to announce its debut at the British International Motor Show. The collection of high-end watches from the luxury Italian watch brand Officine Panerai will be on public display for the first time at this year's 'Ultimate Collection' at the ExCeL Centre in Docklands. TAG Heuer SLR Laptimer Chronograph
Housed in a 47mm case, this new chronograph from TAG Heuer will be available in October. Movement is the Calibre S: Electro-Mechanical Chronograph exclusively patented by TAG Heuer. It can measure time up to 1/100th of a second. The crystal is AR-coated sapphire and it is water resistant to 100 meters. (...)
Maitres du Temps Chapter One
This new brand, which debuted in Geneva at the Hotel Beau Rivag, was founded by Steven Holtzman the ex-distributor for Roger Dubuis in North America. It will feature timepieces created by Christophe Claret, Roger Dubuis and Peter Speake-Marin. Their first model is the Chapter One. It’s a world’s first combination of complications with tourbillon, mono-pusher chronograph, retrograde date, retrograde GMT, and two idiosyncratic rolling bars at 6 o’clock and 12 o’clock, indicating the day of the week and phase of the moon, respectively. No wristwatch before Chapter One has ever featured tourbillon movement incorporating a mono-pusher column wheel chronograph, retrograde date, retrograde GMT, and phase of the moon and day of the week displayed on their own. distinctive rolling bars. Limited Edition of 250 in White Gold – 500 in Rose Gold & 1,188 in Steel.

The Ref. IW3261 is housed in a 44mm case with an AR-coated sapphire crystal impervious to pressure changes. It is water resistant to 60 meters.

Movement is the automatic IWC caliber 30710, with 23 jewels, beating at 28,800 bph and with a power reserve of 42 hours. For its historical archive, IWC created also a one-off model in Platinum (not for resale).

MSRP starts at 13,600 Euros for the Rose Gold version.
